  1. Desk+Plus can zip and unzip files ONLY if you configure your own Pkzip files!  
  2. If you don't have these files, you can get them from almost any shareware 
  3. dealer or bulletin board system.  
  4.  
  5. Files that are 'zipped' are compressed and use considerably less room than 
  6. when unzipped.  Zipped files have become a standard for computer users.  
  7. Desk+Plus makes it easy for you to zip and unzip files.

  9. The first thing you are asked when setting up your Pkzip files is where they
  10. are located.  You can either type in the drive and path that they are located
  11. on, or choose the [Browse,A13] utility to easily find the location.

  13. Then you are asked where you want the destination directory to be.  This is 
  14. the directory that Desk+Plus will put the files in when you UNZIP.  You may
  15. either type in the destination drive and path or choose the Browse utility.

  17. Lastly, you are asked where ZIPPED files will be put after zipping.  Again,
  18. you can type in the drive and path of the this directory or use the Browse
  19. utility.
